Job summary

Housing Catalyst in Fort Collins, CO, seeks a Maintenance Technician with a leadership mindset. You’ll service and repair building systems, manage work orders, and support resident care with strong teamwork and communication.

The role emphasizes on-call leadership during rotations, safety, and thorough documentation using a company device. Valid driver’s license and relevant HVAC/electrical certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and maintenance experience.
• Certifications in CPO and EPA HVAC are a plus.
• Licensing or formal training in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC helps.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability per HC policy.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example delivering excellent resident service and teamwork.
• Prioritize and manage work orders with urgency for residents.
• Troubleshoot/repair electrical, plumbing, mechanical, heating, HVAC systems.
• Maintain irrigation, pool chemistry, and annual inspections/testings.
• Document work via company device with accurate records.
• Collaborate with managers and peers for turnover and planning.
• Ensure safe use of tools and daily/seasonal maintenance.
