Job summary

Seneca Place in Verona is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our facility operations team. The role focuses on daily upkeep, safety, and reliable building systems to support our senior residents.

Candidates should have 1–3 years' maintenance experience, basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry skills, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. A valid driver’s license and commitment to resident comfort are essential.

Qualifications

1-3 years of maintenance experience in building facilities.
Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality property management preferred.
Proficient in basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC troubleshooting, and carpentry.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight spaces.
Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall repair, tiling, and interior/exterior painting.
Respond to and resolve daily work orders from residents and department heads with courtesy and professionalism.
Monitor, inspect, and troubleshoot facility systems including HVAC, emergency generators, lighting, and security alarms.
Execute tasks on the community's preventative maintenance calendar to maintain safety standards and extend equipment life.
Assist with safety protocols, fire drills, inspections, and inclement weather tasks as needed.
