Founder's House of Hope in Artesia, CA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician (Mon-Fri, full-time) to support a 98-bed assisted living facility. Responsibilities include routine preventive maintenance, plumbing, electrical work, and supervising maintenance, janitorial, housekeeping and laundry staff.

The role requires clear DOJ FBI background checks, a pre-employment physical, a TB test, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Clear DOJ FBI background clearance required.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and TB test.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Flexible scheduling; weekends/holidays may be required.
• Cooking and kitchen experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and janitorial tasks for the facility.
• Coordinate and supervise any outside contractor services.
• Assist with resident admissions and discharges.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance checks.
• Order and manage inventory of supplies and materials.
• Oversee maintenance, janitorial, housekeeping and laundry staff.
