TruCare Community, Inc. in Artesia, CA is seeking a Maintenance Tech to join Founder's House of Hope, an assisted living facility.

The role is Mon-Fri and covers general maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and light construction tasks to uphold safety and quality of care. Responsibilities include coordinating with outside contractors, assisting with resident admissions and discharges, and managing supplies while supervising maintenance, janitorial, housekeeping, and laundry staff to ensure clean

Qualifications

• DOJ FBI live scan background clearance required by licensing.
• Pre-employment physical and TB test clearance required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Flexible scheduling; weekends and holidays possible.
• Experience in cooking and kitchen preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all general maintenance and janitorial tasks for facility.
• Control and maintain any outside contractor services.
• Assist with resident admissions and discharges.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance checks.
• Order, receive and maintain inventory of supplies and materials.
• Manage and train maintenance, janitorial, housekeeping and laundry staff to ensure care, operations and cleanliness.
• Additional assigned duties as instructed by administration.

Founder's House of Hope is an assisted living facility for the elderly community (ages 59+) located in Artesia, CA (near Cerritos). We are currently seeking an experienced, results driven and hardworking Maintenance Tech to join our assisted living team and assist with all facility upkeep including but not limited to preventative maintenance, plumbing, electrical and minimal construction work.

Qualifications (non-negotiable):

• Able to clear DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance mandated by licensing
• Able to pass pre employment physical and TB test clearance
• High school diploma or GED required
• Flexible scheduling. Position may include weekends and holidays
• Experience in cooking and kitchen preferred
