Job summary

True Connection Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance on a Senior Living community in Raleigh, NC. You will help maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and other systems, and coordinate tasks with the team to complete repairs.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of maintenance experience, with strong mechanical skills and good communication with staff, residents, and vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience.
• Experience in property management or Senior Living is a plus.
• Strong mechanical skills in HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing and painting.
• Effective communication with maintenance director, staff, residents and vendors.
• Ability to diagnose maintenance problems and stay within budget.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance on community equipment, building and grounds.
• Understand HVAC and other systems and maintain them properly.
• Conduct daily inspections and perform required maintenance.
• Record preventative maintenance data in logs.
• Support safety practices per OSHA and follow work orders.
• Participate in in-service training as required.
• Maintain building appearance and assist with events.
• Perform other duties as required.
