Job summary

Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Maintenance Assistant in Arlington Heights, IL to support the maintenance department in keeping our senior care facility safe, clean, and compliant with applicable codes. You will assist in maintaining electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general facility operations to ensure a welcoming environment for residents.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma (or equivalent) and prior maintenance experience, especially in LTC settings, with strong communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred.
• Prior maintenance experience required.
• Prior LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting experience highly preferred.
• Knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance duties to ensure compliance with environmental and building codes.
• Maintain sanitary, attractive, and safe facility in good repair; address hazards in systems such as electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating and cooling.
