Job summary

Related Affordable is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 96-unit James Crawford Apartments in Monticello, NY to keep buildings and grounds safe, functional and inviting. You will perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry tasks, respond to service requests, and support on-site residents with a focus on quality and safety.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in maintenance, knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and electrical systems, and the ability to work in a team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in general maintenance or related field.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.
• Affordable housing experience is a plus.
• Must be able to participate in the emergency on-call rotation as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely manner and interact with residents.
• Prepare vacant units to occupancy standards.
• Inspect property mechanical systems and grounds for safety issues.
