Qualifications
- 2+ years of maintenance experience.
- HVAC, plumbing, carpentry and electrical knowledge expected.
- Affordable housing experience is a plus.
- On-call rotation participation required.
- Demonstrates accountability, reliability and proactive problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Complete service requests promptly and communicate with residents.
- Prepare vacant units to occupancy standards within deadlines.
- Inspect mechanical systems and grounds; address safety issues with management.
- Perform advanced maintenance: plumbing, electrical, carpentry.
- Clean and maintain common areas and grounds.
- Train and mentor junior maintenance staff as needed.
- Proactively address maintenance concerns; inspect property.
- Assist in emergency repairs; rotate on-call duties.
