Job summary

Village Center Apartments in Orchard Park, NY is seeking a Maintenance Technician to upgrade and preserve the condition and functionality of a 96-unit residential community. The role reports to the Property Manager & Lead Maintenance and is based on-site with on-call duties.

The ideal candidate has proven maintenance experience and strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, plus general maintenance skills. On-site living may be required with a housing benefit.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as maintenance technician.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• General knowledge of maintenance duties.
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare units for occupancy.
• Complete make ready work and general work orders.
• Perform maintenance including electrical, HVAC, and plumbing tasks.
• Perform manual repairs (locks, windows, etc.).
• Conduct general upkeep (landscaping) and other tasks (painting, carpentry) and pool maintenance.
• Complete daily paperwork.
• On-call responsibilities as assigned by property manager.

Maintenance Technician

Reports to: Property Manager & Lead Maintenance

Location: Orchard Park, NY

Units: 96

Salary: $24.00 per hour (Subject to adjustment for onsite living)

Housing Benefit: 50% rent discount for onsite living

Village Center Apartments is looking for a service minded maintenance professional to undertake the responsibility of upgrading & preserving the good condition and functionality of our 96-unit residential apartment community.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare units for occupancy.
• Complete make ready work and general work orders
• Perform maintenance of general maintenance including the areas of; electrical, HVAC, & Plumbing
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
• Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g., landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.) and pool maintenance
• Complete daily paperwork
• On call responsibilities as assigned by property manager
