Job summary

Fairgrove Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep rental properties in top condition across the LA area. The role requires self-motivation, strong customer focus, technical skill, and the ability to service multiple properties.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in property management or related field, proficient in Microsoft Office 365, and excellent communication. The position is full-time with mileage reimbursement and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in property management or a related field, with customer service experience.
• Strong knowledge of computers and technology including cloud-based software and applications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, assess, repair, and replace HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on the properties or within the units.
• Repair or replace floors, ceilings, walls, siding, doors, door hardware, windows, and other general building items.
• Maintain accurate daily maintenance records and action items.
• Interact with vendors and suppliers in a professional manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service to the team and residents.
• After hours emergency response as needed.

Job Summary

A Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping the rental properties in excellent condition, both inside and out. The ideal candidate would be self-motivated, highly customer focused, technically skilled, fast moving, and technologically proficient. This position services multiple properties.

• Full Time Position: 40 hours per week
• Compensation: $28.00-30.00/hr
• Responsibilities: Roving to different properties across LA Area
• Mileage reimbursement

Essential Job Functions – Position Requirements

• Maintain accurate record of daily maintenance records and action items
• Interact with vendors and suppliers in a professional manner
• Provide exceptional customer service to the team and residents
• Support Fairgrove Property Management's mission and values
• Communicate in a timely and effective manner
• Complete emergency and routine service requests
• Turnover make ready tasks
• Assist in the preparation of vacant units for new move-ins.
• Ensure proper removal and disposal of trash as needed.
• Utilize computer, tablet and smart phone software and applications
• Perform other tasks as requested
• After hours emergency response as needed

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in property management or a related field, with customer service experience
• Strong knowledge of computers and technology including cloud-based software and applications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
• Great communication skills
• Organized and able to manage work orders for multiple priorities
• Honest, Trustworthy & Accountable
• Clean driving record with valid driver’s license
• Dependable transportation
• Provide own tools to complete work orders
