Job summary

Voltava is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Michigan to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will support uptime and efficiency with preventive maintenance, analyze machine performance, and participate in continuous improvement while adhering to safety and lockout/tagout protocols. Minimal travel is typical, and a High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and equipment repair.
• Knowledge of robotics, mechanical systems, welding, and electrical systems.
• PLC troubleshooting and ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens Step 7 controls.
• Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
