Job summary
Dakkota Integrated Systems in Michigan is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and facilities. You will minimize downtime through preventive and predictive maintenance and uphold safety and environmental standards.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, experience with PLCs and robotics, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required with 4+ years in industrial maintenance.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and ladder logic.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting and industrial robotics.
Responsibilities
- Assess tooling and equipment condition and complete maintenance repairs.
- Support production by reducing downtime through troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, robotics, tooling, and facilities.
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled systems, robotic cells, conveyors, sensors, drives, HMIs, and safety circuits.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC, and robotic system failures.
- Make recommendations to improve productivity, reliability, safety, and uptime.
- Assist with fabrication, installation, and improvement projects
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
- Support spare parts inventory and continuous improvement initiatives
