Job summary

Accelera Staffing in Chicago, IL is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians for 2nd and 3rd shift to maintain automated production equipment. You will diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems to keep lines running safely and efficiently.

You will work with robotics, PLCs and CNC machinery, performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, with a strong emphasis on quality and safety. Join a dynamic, high-speed manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Experience with robotics, automation, PLCs or CNC machinery.
Ability to read complex electrical schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

Identify and resolve issues across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Ensure operational integrity of robotic units, CNC machines, and automated systems.
Execute predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance tasks.
Diagnose equipment faults and perform rapid, effective repairs to maintain output.
Use diagnostic software and fault codes to troubleshoot PLC-based machinery.
Conduct welding tasks and general fabrication as required.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and equipment performance metrics.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols including lockout/tagout standards.
