Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of maintenance tasks across an assigned apartment community. You will handle repairs, preventive maintenance, and resident communications, while supporting the Maintenance Supervisor and ensuring safety and curb appeal.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1+ year maintenance experience, and the ability to work weekends/holidays with on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year maintenance experience.
• EPA Type I and II certification preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the assigned property.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule as required.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and all other systems at community.
• Other licenses and certifications as required by local, state or federal law.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance requests and repairs promptly and thoroughly.
• Assist with monitoring inventory of equipment, tools, parts and supplies.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedule and safety practices.
• Communicate effectively with residents, employees, vendors and supervisors.
• Assist with move-in/move-out process and maintenance/turn events.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment per manufacturer specs.
• Maintain records and uphold cleanliness of office and common areas.
