Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of maintenance tasks across apartment communities. You’ll handle repairs, preventive maintenance, and ensure high customer service standards while coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work a varied schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year maintenance experience, preferably in apartments.
• EPA Type I and II preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the property.
• Must have reliable transportation and rotating on-call schedule.
• Ability to work weekends/holidays as required.
• Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and other systems.
• Other licenses/certifications as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs promptly and thoroughly.
• Assist supervisor with inventory of equipment, parts and supplies.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Follow preventative maintenance schedules and keep records.
• Communicate with residents, staff, and vendors professionally.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergencies.
• Assist with move-in/move-out and maintenance-related turns.
