Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure buildings, grounds, and common areas meet safety and quality standards. You will perform repairs, conduct preventive maintenance, and support make‑ready processes for new move‑ins.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, managing parts and tools, documenting work, and maintaining grounds. A valid driver’s license and EPA refrigerant certifications are required, with company benefits supporting long-term employment.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance and hands-on repair work.
• Ability to diagnose and fix issues with building systems and equipment.
• Commitment to safety standards and consistent documentation of work orders.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and conducts preventative maintenance.
• Prepares vacant units by performing punch lists, scheduling vendors, and inspecting completion.
• Manages materials and inventory, and ensures proper use of tools and safety equipment.
• Documents work performed accurately for work order tracking.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, cleans and paints curbs and signage as needed.
• Assists in cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
