Job summary

Gorman & Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support two affordable housing communities: Printery Row in Pulaski and Bay City Lofts in Green Bay. The role covers daily maintenance, safety checks, and timely responses to repair requests to keep residents comfortable and safe.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in property maintenance with knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances, plus a valid driver’s license and a resident-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of property management maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.
• Ability to be the primary on-call technician.
• Strong customer service with a resident-first mindset.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC-EPA Type II or EPA Universal preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily maintenance and repairs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
• Maintain exterior of the property and pool areas along with seasonal prep such as fall cleanup.
• Perform daily property walks to keep everything clean, safe, and looking sharp.
• Respond promptly to routine and emergency maintenance requests when assigned.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents using make-ready checklists.
• Inspect buildings and grounds to maintain safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal.
• Maintain common areas, exterior spaces, and grounds.
• Communicate with vendors and contractors.
