Job summary

Greenbrier Management Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance of an apartment community including repairs, turnover, and preventative tasks. Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and collaborates with residents, vendors, and team members.

The role requires at least 2 years of apartment maintenance experience, basic electrical and plumbing skills, a valid driver's license, and a proactive work ethic.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in apartment maintenance including basic electrical & plumbing diagnostics/repair.
• Must be a team player in an atmosphere of mutual respect.
• Possess a positive attitude & effective communication skills.
• Have a valid driver license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure maintenance functions are performed properly and promptly.
• Ensure effective and timely follow up with residents, vendors and property management team on all maintenance services provided.
• Respond to all on-call emergencies in a timely manner.
• Complete and follow up on all open unresolved tickets.
• Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily to identify maintenance tasks and ensure curb appeal.
• Follow safety policies and participate in training sessions.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
