Job summary

PK Companies is a property management company seeking a motivated maintenance technician to join our on-site team in Indiana. The role offers full-time hours, benefits, and 401k matching, with compensation between $19 and $22 per hour.

Responsibilities include repairing equipment and building systems, performing general grounds and inside/outside maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new residents. Candidates should be prepared for on-call duties and after-hours emergencies.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Deadline- and detail-oriented.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Electrical knowledge or certification helpful.
• Experience with boiler and cooling towers preferred.
• Customer service attitude.

Responsibilities

• Repair major and minor issues with equipment and buildings.
• Grounds work; maintain all common areas, inside and outside.
• Snow removal and after-hours maintenance.
• Complete maintenance and repair work orders promptly.
• Order and replace broken parts or equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents.
• Painting, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical and flooring repair.
• On-call as needed.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.
