Job summary

JUSTUS PROPERTY MANAGEMENT INC is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to oversee maintenance and cleaning at our properties in Indiana. You will provide reliable customer service, maintain common areas, and present the company professionally to residents and vendors.

Responsibilities include inspecting grounds, completing work orders, performing turn of vacant units, coordinating with contractors, and handling after-hours emergencies.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor maintenance and cleaning to stay below budget.
• Inspect community grounds each morning.
• Turn over vacant units (painting, cleaning, maintenance).
• Complete all maintenance requests promptly.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy.
• Conduct preventative maintenance activities.
• Maintain landscaping, bushes, trees and lawn.
• Perform snow removal of sidewalks.
• Maintain maintenance records and JPM tools and parts.
• Provide and maintain personal tools.
• Sweep and clean all common areas.
• Supervise contractors on site.
• Provide after-hours emergency support to residents.
• Maintain preventative maintenance records for residents and units.
• Provide service for all common amenities.
• Conduct semi-annual unit inspections.
• Handle after-hour emergencies (on-call).
• Other duties as assigned.
