Job summary

HNN Communities is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in Kent, WA! This role involves maintaining the physical condition of the community, completing work orders, and preparing apartment homes for new residents.

The position offers competitive pay ranging from $22 to $26 per hour, along with extensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and generous paid time off. Ideal candidates should have maintenance experience and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of maintenance related experience, preferably as a Maintenance Technician.
• Competent and efficient in all aspects of maintenance operations including electrical, plumbing, pool maintenance, appliance repair, carpentry, and painting.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service to address the needs of residents in a friendly and professional manner.
• Familiarity with technology including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and iPads/tablets.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English in a manner sufficient to carry out duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition and general upkeep of the community following Company operating and safety standards.
• Thoroughly complete work orders within the expected timeframe according to Company policy and standards.
• Prepare make-ready apartment homes including painting, flooring, cleaning, rekeying, and general repairs.
• Clean and trash out vacated apartment homes, including physical evictions.
• Maintain community grounds, pool and spa, common areas, trash compactor, pet stations, controlled access buildings, and amenities.
• Perform regular lighting checks and repairs.
• Promptly and professionally respond to after-hours emergency calls as assigned.
