Job summary

AMP Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Viva at New Smyrna Beach in Palm Coast, FL. The role focuses on keeping the property safe, attractive, and well-maintained, performing preventative maintenance, completing service requests, and assisting with apartment make-ready turns.

The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of related experience, excellent customer service, and a valid driver's license. EPA certification (or CPO) is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in a similar industry.
• Experience with appliance troubleshooting/repair, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and grounds.
• Exterior grounds/curb appeal focus and make-ready turns from construction.
• Valid Driver's License with auto insurance required.
• EPA Certification highly preferred; Pool experience a plus; CPO preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartment homes for occupancy by making repairs.
• Complete work orders in occupied homes with fast, friendly service.
• Assist in organizing and assigning service work orders with the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Follow preventive maintenance guidelines.
• Maintain property grounds and respond to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance service requests.
• Mentor and train other technicians as directed.
