CYM Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our property maintenance team. You will perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential properties, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires problem-solving, reliability, and the ability to work independently or in a team. On-call rotation and customer-focused service are part of the job, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as a maintenance technician or in a related field.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems and general maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential properties, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general carpentry.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs and ensure safety compliance.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Assist in implementing preventative maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, repairs, and inspections and report significant issues.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff and property management to address tenant concerns and improve resident satisfaction.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good order and report issues to management.
• Follow safety regulations and participate in on-call rotation for emergency maintenance.
• Support a positive, customer-focused service culture across properties.
