Job summary

Greystar's The Waters at Hammond is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical repairs, respond to resident service requests, and support make-ready work for new move-ins. The role requires adherence to safety standards and timely completion of tasks in a residential setting.

You will execute routine maintenance while helping manage grounds and common areas, and participate in cost-control by repairing instead of replacing when feasible.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certifications Type 1 and II or Universal required.
• State and local certifications required for all service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate on-property vehicles (e.g., golf cart).

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing according to policy and safety standards.
• Performs make-ready tasks and move-in inspections, prepares punch lists, and coordinates vendors as needed.
• Manages materials and inventory, tracks usage, and notifies supervisor for re-orders.
