Job summary

HB Specialty Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep production lines running safely and efficiently. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on machinery and facilities, supporting line development and sanitation as needed.

The role requires mechanical and electrical knowledge, the ability to climb and work at heights, and teamwork in a fast-paced facility handling allergens. Competitive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in mechanical/maintenance role preferred.
• 2+ years experience with power/hand tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, clean, organized work area.
• Perform preventative maintenance on motors, conveyors, dryers, blenders.
• Read diagrams and manuals; troubleshoot issues.
• Locate problems by observing equipment in operation and provide timely solutions.
• Dismantle and repair defective equipment using tools.
• Schedule preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Assist in fabrication and repair with shop tools.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies; notify when needed.
• Document work with time and description; log follow-ups.
