Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Respond to equipment breakdowns in a timely manner to minimize production downtime.
Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and production lines.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and spare parts inventory.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards, including GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP, and sanitation requirements.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.
Conduct routine inspections of machinery and facility systems to identify potential issues.
Follow all safety procedures and support a strong safety culture within the facility.
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance, electrical technology, or related field preferred.
