Job summary
Pbna is seeking a maintenance technician to repair and install production equipment. You will inspect equipment, diagnose malfunctions, and perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer specs. Must have own hand tools and be able to work near heat, noise, and chemicals.
Weekend or holiday work may be required. Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, repairing equipment, conducting breakdown analysis, and coordinating with outside contractors.
Qualifications
- Age 18+ requirement.
- Pass a technical assessment covering maintenance knowledge.
- Experience with mechanical systems and reading drawings.
- Ability to read product manuals and apply repair knowledge.
- Experience with troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns.
- Familiarity with hydraulics/pneumatics drawings and schematics.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
- Repair production equipment as needed.
- Perform breakdown analysis and documentation of work.
- Maintain general housekeeping of work areas.
- Upgrade lines with new equipment/technology.
- Collaborate with outside contractors on lines.
- Change lines for packaging changeovers.
- Comply with GMP, safety, and audit standards.
- Work independently under limited supervision.
