Job summary

spsx is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires a willingness to work a 12-hour staggered rotating schedule, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

You will troubleshoot and repair equipment with minimal supervision, perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, read schematics and manuals, and document maintenance work

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Basic welding and fabrication experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong attention to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment with minimal supervision.
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Complete basic welding and fabrication repairs.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Assist with equipment upgrades and continuous improvement projects.
• Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO and proper PPE requirements.
• Document completed maintenance work.
• Train and support new team members as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
