Job summary

Essex Solutions Inc. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Franklin, Indiana.

You will perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, read schematics, respond to breakdowns, and support upgrades and continuous improvement. This role requires safety focus and the ability to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience is preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment with minimal supervision.
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Complete basic welding and fabrication repairs.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Assist with equipment upgrades and continuous improvement projects.
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and proper PPE requirements.
• Document completed maintenance work.
• Train and support new team members as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Maintenance Technician

We're looking for a hands‑on Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Schedule

Must be able to work any shift. This position operates on a 12-hour staggered rotating schedule, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment with minimal supervision
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
• Complete basic welding and fabrication repairs
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
