Job summary

Cardinal Group is seeking a Maintenance Team Member in Gainesville, FL to protect and enhance community value and living experience. You will resolve maintenance issues efficiently and support both indoor and outdoor facilities.

The role requires 3–5 years in maintenance, a focus on safety, and the ability to lift 75 lbs. EPA Universal certification is preferred, with weekend and on-call availability as part of the job.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of pool service and maintenance required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and stand 8–12 hours; weekend/on-call availability.
• EPA Universal certification is preferred/licensed as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains facility and grounds according to community objectives.
• Operates and maintains equipment safely; follows health and OSHA rules.
• Responds to work orders promptly, participates in on-call rotation.
• Inspects public areas and apartments for upkeep and standards.
• Follows EPA record-keeping for HVAC and refrigerant; water chemistry for pools.
• Keeps storage areas and tools secure; participates in Cardinal U training.
