Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a maintenance plumber to install, maintain and repair pumps, piping, filters, and fixtures in a healthcare setting. You will support steam stations, piping networks and medical gas systems, while helping with HVAC, electrical, and safety tasks as needed.

The role requires interpreting safety rules, documenting maintenance logs, and training others on job skills. This full-time position is based at our Florida facility, with day shifts and a focus on patient care and

Qualifications

• High School/Equivalent diploma or 5+ years experience.
• Must have Driver's License.
• Ability to read, and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, and repairs domestic water pumps, water piping lines, water filters, and plumbing fixtures.
• Repairs and maintains steam stations, valves, heating and condensate return stations, and sewer and storm drains.
• Maintains piping and supply of cylinder and bulk medical gas systems.
• Assists in operation and maintenance of painting, HVAC, electrical, locksmith, and alarm systems.
• Troubleshoots, tests, and repairs plumbing, mechanical equipment, systems, and piping.

Job Description

Installs, maintains, and repairs domestic water pumps, water piping lines, water filters, and plumbing fixtures. Repairs and maintains steam stations, valves, heating and condensate return stations, and sewer and storm drains. Maintains the piping and supply of cylinder and bulk medical gas systems. Assists in the operation and general maintenance of painting, HVAC, electrical, locksmith, and alarm systems, performing essential repairs and other duties as requested. Troubleshoots, tests, and repairs plumbing, mechanical machinery, equipment, systems, and piping as needed and under general supervision. Responds to in-house work orders and preventive maintenance tasks. Remains current on maintenance logs and documentation. Provides on-the-job skills training to enhance team capabilities. Supports and contributes to the development of new processes, products, or services. Complies with healthcare, federal, state, and local rules and regulations. Other duties as assigned.
