Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a skilled Maintenance Tech to support painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and locksmith systems. You will maintain logs, manage tools, and coordinate with other departments to avoid disruption of operations.

Qualifications include high school diploma, ability to read safety rules, and basic MS Office; healthcare setting experience preferred. This full-time day-shift role offers benefits from day one and opportunities for growth within a faith-based hospital

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak conversational English.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volumes.
• Knowledge of safe handling tools and equipment.
• Basic Microsoft Office computer skills.
• Ability to read and understand work orders.
• Ability to enter data in CMMS System.
• Complete all work as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Responds to in-house work orders and preventive maintenance tasks on a daily basis and in a timely manner.
• Responds to emergency calls and takes call in accordance with facility needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
