Job summary

DFAMILK is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform planned and unplanned repairs on production, processing, and packaging equipment, along with related utilities. You will read schematics, support new equipment installation, and train operators to minimize downtime.

The role requires 2–4 years of relevant experience, familiarity with ammonia refrigeration, and adherence to GMP and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Graduation from trade/technical school in electrical, PLC/HMI, mechanical, welding/fabrication, refrigeration, plumbing etc.
• 2–4 years of maintenance, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, PLC, and HVAC experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with lubricating, cleaning, material handling, motor/relay/control, process control, and packaging equipment.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems preferred.
• Certification and/or Licenses may be required during employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and/or repairs on production, processing, and packaging equipment and related utilities per safety procedures.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections for reliability and performance.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders.
• Assist in installing new equipment and training operators.
• Complete work orders promptly with high quality standards.
• Document all repairs and maintain paperwork per SOP.
• Maintain safe working conditions and GMP compliance.
