Job summary

DFAMILK is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform planned and unplanned repairs on production, processing, and packaging equipment, ensuring safety and reliability. You will read schematics, support new equipment installations, and assist operators with troubleshooting to minimize downtime.

The role requires experience with mechanical, electrical, and HVAC components, hands-on use of tools and meters, and compliance with GMP and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduation from trade school or technical school preferred in areas such as electrical, PLC/HMI, mechanical, welding/fabrication, refrigeration, plumbing.
• 2 to 4 years of maintenance, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, computer-controlled equipment, PLC, and HVAC or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on production, processing, and packaging equipment and related systems; follow safety procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections of equipment for reliability and performance.
• Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders.
• Support installation of new equipment.
• Assist operators with training or troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner with high quality standards.
• Document repairs and required information clearly in SOPs.
• Stay up to date on new products, equipment, and techniques.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and assist in continuous improvement initiatives.
