Job summary

DFA Milk is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to ensure production equipment runs safely and efficiently. You will perform routine and emergency repairs, support new equipment installation, and help operators troubleshoot to minimize downtime. Strong reading of schematics and technical manuals is essential.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in maintenance or related fields, with electrical and PLC/HMI knowledge. High school diploma required; ammonia refrigeration experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade/technical schooling preferred.
• 2–4 years maintenance, electrical, PLC/HMI, HVAC or related manufacturing experience.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and/or repairs on production, processing, and packaging equipment and related systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections for reliability.
• Read technical procedures and service manuals to perform maintenance tasks.
• Support installation of new equipment and assist operators with troubleshooting.
• Complete work orders promptly with high quality and proper documentation.
