Job summary

Reser’s Fine Foods in Hillsboro, OR, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for swing or graveyard shift to perform preventative and urgent maintenance on production machinery. Read blueprints, interpret wiring diagrams, and troubleshoot equipment with PLCs to minimize downtime.

Requirements: 3–5 years as a multi-craft industrial technician, OSHA knowledge, high school diploma (technical degree preferred), ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work weekends/holidays in a refrigerated

Qualifications

• OSHA safety standards knowledge.
• High school diploma required, technical degree preferred.
• 3–5 years as a multi-craft industrial technician.
• Intermediate maintenance knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Effectively perform the duties of the MT 1 job description.
• Prioritize downtime issues to meet production needs.
• Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment with timing and PLCs.
• Communicate with departments and attend on-site meetings.
• Assist with installation of new equipment.
• Perform additional facilities-related duties as required.
