Job summary

Reser’s Fine Foods is seeking an experienced industrial maintenance technician for swing and graveyard shift coverage at our Salem, Oregon facility. The role focuses on preventive and urgent maintenance of production machinery, with opportunities to lead projects from CapEx and CI perspectives.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in multi-craft maintenance, strong troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and a technical certification.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a multi-craft industrial technician.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems maintenance.
• Proven advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrated leadership in a plant/industrial setting.
• Technical certification (or demonstrated equivalent) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and urgent maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
• Lead projects from CapEx and continuous improvement perspectives.
• Diagnose and repair PLCs and programmable devices.
• Estimate costs and timelines for equipment breakdowns and improvements.
• Escalate unresolved machine breakdowns to management within timelines.
• Support facilities tasks and special projects as directed by Facilities and Maintenance Manager.
