Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair critical production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will work with electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical components to keep lines running smoothly.

You will install, maintain, and repair equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with operations teams to improve reliability and safety on the plant floor.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Proven maintenance technician experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues quickly and effectively.
• Experience reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• PLC troubleshooting experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose equipment issues using multimeters, testing devices, and other diagnostic tools.
• Maintain production machinery to support safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce unexpected breakdowns.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective repair solutions.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate with operations and production teams to improve equipment performance and reliability.
