Job summary

Aerotek seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide range of plastics manufacturing equipment. You will perform electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical maintenance, including fabricating parts and equipment when needed, using both hands‑on tools and a laptop‑based diagnostic system.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical components such as bearings, pumps, motors, gears.
• Electrical wiring, voltage checks, and fault troubleshooting on machinery.
• Ability to read equipment manuals and troubleshoot safely.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair plastics manufacturing equipment.
• Perform mechanical work: bearings, pumps, motors, rollers, gears.
• Electrical work: wiring, voltage checks, fault diagnosis.
• Hydraulic/pneumatic maintenance: cylinders, seals, solenoids.
• Use laptop and diagnostic software to identify faults.
• Fabricate parts with welders and torches.
• Document maintenance activities and parts used.
