Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, and electrical components on production machines, including robotics. The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and problem-solving across a busy facility in Lake Crystal, MN.

You'll work with a team to keep operations running smoothly, utilize a personal tool set, and log maintenance activities while performing some PLC-related tasks and computer-based

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Proficient with standard hand and power tools such as drills, hammers, tape measures, sockets, wrenches, and screwdrivers.
• Ability to drill into PLCs and support basic PLC-related maintenance tasks.
• Strong attention to detail in maintaining accurate maintenance logs.
• Proficient with computers, spending ~30% of the shift on maintenance systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Own a personal tool set including sockets, wrenches, hammers, and screwdrivers.
• Able to follow Lockout/Tagout procedures for safe maintenance work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment, including robotics.
• Perform general upkeep across the facility to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Diagnose and repair electronic and electrical components such as relays, switches, motors, and circuit boards.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions on electrical and mechanical equipment and verify proper operation after repairs.
• Maintain and follow preventative maintenance schedules and document work performed.
