Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a maintenance technician in Elk Grove Village, IL to repair and maintain plastic molding machinery and electro-mechanical systems. You will read blueprints, troubleshoot PLCs, and work with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical controls.

Your role includes preventive maintenance, part replacement, and on-call overtime as needed, with a focus on safe operation and adherence to procedures for production equipment across the facility.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED plus one year related experience or training; or equivalent combination.
• Strong hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, and PLC troubleshooting.
• Electrician's license preferred but not mandatory.

Aufgaben

• Performs routine preventive maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
• Replaces or repairs parts such as bearings, wiring, valves, gauges and switches.
• Reads and interprets electrical and mechanical drawings and manuals.
• Installs functional and structural parts in devices and tests performance.
• Participates in on-call program and may work overtime as required.
• Adheres to safety rules to ensure a safe work environment.
