Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Pittston, PA plant. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems while ensuring safe operation and adherence to Amcor’s quality standards.

Responsibilities include diagnosing PLC-controlled equipment, performing PMs, and documenting all maintenance activities. The role requires hands-on skills, safety focus, and the ability to work independently on a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years in industrial maintenance or related training.
• Able to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally 100 pounds.
• Ability to read schematics and equipment manuals.
• Strong PLC programming knowledge and ability to troubleshoot electrical controls.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electronic, electromechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and optic systems.
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Perform PMs, clean and lubricate molding machines and equipment.
• Document repairs and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
