Job summary

Postalloy® Hardface Technologies is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep all machinery up and running to equipment specifications and to maintain the facility and ancillary support systems.

The role involves coordinating repairs with manufacturing, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, ordering parts, and fabricating components as needed. Travel domestically and operation of PLCs may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; a post-secondary degree is preferred.
• Vocational training in electrical, industrial electronics, or HVAC is preferred and schematics reading is desired.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; travel domestically may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate repairs with manufacturing to maximize uptime and meet standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Order and maintain replacement parts to maximize uptime.
• Fabricate parts for machinery as needed.
• Assist in operating and adjusting PLCs and programs on equipment.
• Work with outside contractors on repairs, installations and engineering designs.
• Perform general facilities maintenance, including lighting, filters, painting, and routine repairs.
• Apply 5S practices plant-wide to ensure organization and cleanliness.
• Adhere to safety and environmental policies and maintain a positive work area.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
