Job summary

PET Dairy in High Point, North Carolina is hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs on production, processing, and packaging equipment. You will read schematics, support new equipment installation, and assist operators to minimize downtime while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires 1–3 years in maintenance, basic PLC/HMI and HVAC knowledge, and the ability to work independently within a team.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Trade or technical school in electrical/mechanical fields preferred.
1–3 years maintenance experience in manufacturing environment.
Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems preferred.
PLC/HVAC experience may be required during employment.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and/or repairs on production, processing, and packaging equipment and related systems following safety procedures.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders.
Support installation of new equipment and assist operators with training to minimize downtime.
Complete work orders timely while maintaining high quality standards.
Maintain documentation and paperwork accurately per SOPs.
Use hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment safely.
Identify opportunities to improve processes with a continuous improvement mindset.
