Job summary

PET Dairy in High Point, NC is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to keep production, processing, and packaging equipment operating safely and efficiently. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations, reading schematics and service manuals, and supporting new equipment integration.

You should have a high school diploma and 1–3 years in maintenance or related fields, with PLC/HMI, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC familiarity.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Trade/technical school in electrical, PLC/HMI, mechanical, refrigeration preferred.
1–3 years maintenance, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, PLC, HVAC experience in manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repairs on production, processing, and packaging equipment and related systems following safety procedures.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, service manuals, and work orders to perform maintenance.
Assist in installation of new equipment and train operators as needed.
Complete work orders timely with high quality standards.
Document repairs and required information per SOPs and maintain inventory records.
