Job summary

Aerotek in Valparaiso, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician with entry-level to 1+ year of maintenance, electrical, or manufacturing experience to join our team. You will troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480V, diagnose mechanical issues, and assist with PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley).

This is a contract-to-hire, fully onsite role with overtime opportunities. The facility offers training, career development, and a modern work environment, with a pay range of $26.00–$35.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Entry-level to 1+ year of maintenance or manufacturing experience.
• Willingness to learn and be trained for a manufacturing maintenance career.
• Ability to read basic schematics or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems up to 480V (single & three-phase).
• Diagnose and fix mechanical issues (bearings, belts, gears, shafts).
• Assist with PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley).
• Work with pneumatic systems and use meters for diagnostics.
• Help build, install, and wire new equipment.
• Assist with control panel wiring and assembly.
• Support general facility maintenance as needed.
• Keep work areas clean and safe.

What We're Looking For

• Entry-level to 1+ year of maintenance, mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing experience
• Willingness to learn and be trained to build a career in Manufacturing Maintenance
• Ability to read basic schematics (or willingness to learn)
• Comfortable using hand tools

What You'll Do

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $35.00/hr.
