Job summary

Atrium Hospitality is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician at the Raleigh-Durham Embassy Suites in Cary, NC. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, completing work orders, and troubleshooting minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of general maintenance experience, can lift 25 lbs regularly, and may hold HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certifications. Atrium offers growth opportunities and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care.
• Complete and document guest and associate work orders.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals.
• Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment.
• Perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal.

Job Description

What You Will Do:

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care
• Complete and document guest and associate work orders
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
• Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals
• Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances
• Perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties
• Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment

What We Are Looking For:

• Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience required; hotel maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally
• Ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods
• HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification a plus
