Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Central Square at Watermark in Mt. Pleasant, SC. The role performs technical and mechanical work to ensure buildings, grounds and amenities meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include handling work orders, making-ready inspections, inventory management, and on-site upkeep with a focus on safety and cost efficiency. Requires EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver's license; on-site, full-time schedule with on-call

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.
• All required state and local certifications for Service Technicians.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance on the property.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant apartments including pre-move-out inspections and punch lists.
• Track inventory and coordinate re-orders for materials and tools with the maintenance department.
• Complete documentation to accurately document and track service requests.
• Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities through cleaning and painting tasks as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing parts when possible rather than replacing them.
