Job summary

ZRS Management LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Austin, TX to deliver skilled repairs and proactive upkeep for residents and common areas. You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor and report to the Property Manager, ensuring timely turnover and safety around all equipment.

Responsibilities include plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance maintenance, along with on-call hours and collaboration with the team to maintain high service standards and housing quality.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to change calmly and maintain confidentiality.
• Clear communication with residents and team.
• Experience working in a team environment; willing to work on-call hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances and other systems.
• Complete apartment turnover maintenance within 3–5 business days and turnover checklist.
• Maintain common areas: sweep, mop, clean windows, take out trash.
• Monitor exterior areas for roof, siding, shutters and related issues.
• Support preventive maintenance programs and inventory management.
• Ensure safety rules are followed and keep work area clean.
