Job summary

Yugo in College Station, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain the property's safety, appearance and functionality. You will complete resident work orders, respond to requests and emergencies, and support on-call maintenance as needed.

The role requires at least 1 year of maintenance experience (HVAC, plumbing, electrical), a high school diploma, and strong customer service and communication skills. EPA Type I certification and pool maintenance knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• EPA Type I certification preferred.
• Pool maintenance certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with technology and online systems.
• Willingness to undertake carbon literacy training.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders promptly with quality repairs.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies with good service and follow-up.
• Perform general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry) and repairs.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, equipment, and common areas for safety and maintenance needs.
• Maintain pools, spas, and related equipment per local regulations.
• Assist with turnover of units for new residents and prep work.
• Participate in on-call and after-hours maintenance as scheduled.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure quality work and compliance.
• Maintain professional appearance and positive relations with residents, team members, and vendors.
